Starburst!


My first work involving curves and points, this pattern is called New York Beauties. The idea was to simulate multiple fireworks exploding simultaneously in the black night sky.

The back is almost as interesting as the front because each burst was quilted with a matching color of thread.

Wayne, I LOVE this quilt - the starbursts against the black are just brilliant. Your border fabric reminds me of the sky during the fireworks finale. And while your photography of excellent, I love that I actually got to see this piece in person. Your quilting is just perfect. This quilt really is terrific!
