I love to make quilts. Large and small; for beds and walls. I especially like bright colors and geometrics. Please look through my showcase. Tell me what you think: you can leave a comment below a particular quilt, send an email (wsrhodes@gmail.com),and/or sign my Guestbook (on the right side as you scroll down). Some are for sale; click on "Needs A Loving Home" to see these. And if you are interested in having a quilt made for you, drop me a line and we'll see what we can work out.

Latitudes
This triptych was specifically designed to go on a large wall of the summer home of friends of ours in Port Townsend (Olympic Peninsula), Washington. The house is surrounded by nature: trees, flowers, mountains, a lake, and the sky. The colors and textures of the panels (30", 24", and 18" wide from left to right) were chosen to reflect these elements. The "latitudes" themselves show how these elements both blend and have their own distinct character, and go on to infinity. While the picture of the 3 panels shown here (click) gives one the physical view, the actual quilts are best seen from about 10' - 15' away.
