Fine Finned Friends


As I mentioned in my January 19th post ("Sweet Dreams"), our friend Laura is about to become a grandmother....twice! So this is the second quilt I made for her.
The order for this one was "something colorful with fish". Voila! Here it is. And the back fabric is uber-cutesy too!!

    they look like fishes and trees at the same time. are you going through withdrawal yet or did you bring anything to work by hand?

    I am absolutely crazy about this quilt, and went to the above site you mentioned Wayne. It isn't quite the same as the quilt pictured above, and I was wondering if there is another pattern that you know of. The one above has a few small fish in it but the pattern on the site is a touch different.

    Maureen: I see what you mean. Yes.....it IS the same pattern. But to make it more interesting I "re-sized" the fish in the middle row to be smaller! You could play with the dimensions and do the same thing, or just follow the pattern as is and have two big fish in that row.
